Washington, D.C. — Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02) has expressed strong condemnation towards President Biden's recent actions concerning Israel. Moore, in solidarity with Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ), signed a letter rebuking the Biden Administration's decision to abstain from a United Nations vote pushing for an "immediate ceasefire" in Gaza.

In a statement, Moore criticized President Biden, stating, "Israel has been our trusted ally for more than 75 years, but President Biden is damaging our relationship by allowing his radical Democrat voter base to sway his foreign policy." Moore emphasized the importance of supporting Israel, particularly in the face of ongoing threats, such as those posed by Hamas.

Regarding Hamas's activities, Moore highlighted the severe impact on Israeli citizens, including the loss of lives and the taking of hostages. He emphasized, "Hamas killed 1,200 Israeli citizens and took hundreds of hostages, including several American citizens, and they have no intention of ending their repeated assault on Israel. The United States should continue to support Israel rather than undermining them as they fight for their very existence."

The letter signed by Rep. Moore and others underscores a growing concern among some lawmakers regarding the Biden Administration's approach to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Moore's stance reflects a commitment to maintaining strong ties with Israel and advocating for policies that align with the interests of the longstanding ally.
