Rep. Barry Moore and 41 of his Republican colleagues have taken a firm stance against funding President Biden's ongoing border crisis. In a letter to his colleagues, Moore emphasized the importance of not supporting a deal that contributes to the current situation at the border.

"Republicans can't fix Biden's border crisis if we're funding it,” said Moore. "We must be willing to use the power of the purse and say we will not fund a deal that allows this crisis to continue. American families are counting on us to protect them, and they deserve real solutions, not just talking points."

The letter highlights concerns about the implications of supporting legislation that could lead to the mass release of illegal immigrants into the United States, the release of criminals, the dismantling of Trump's "Remain in Mexico" policy, the support of sanctuary cities, and the halting of border wall construction in Texas.

The call to withhold funding for initiatives related to the border crisis reflects a broader effort by Moore and his Republican colleagues to address immigration issues through alternative means.
