Rep. Barry Moore has expressed his support for the recently passed H.R. 8371, known as the Senator Elizabeth Dole 21st Century Veterans Healthcare and Benefits Improvement Act. The legislation aims to enhance healthcare, benefits, and services provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to veterans, their families, and survivors.
"As a proud Veteran, I am pleased to support this long-awaited bill. It reaffirms our commitment to honoring and caring for our veterans and their families by ensuring they receive the support they deserve," Moore stated. He added that the bill "modernizes our approach to veterans' healthcare, making help more accessible, and paving the way for a future where no veteran feels forgotten."
The bill includes several bipartisan proposals designed to reform how healthcare is delivered to veterans.
