The Montgomery County Commission is proud to partner with the City of Montgomery and the Central Alabama Community Foundation for the Give Smart Montgomery giving initiative. The initiative provides a simple, safe, and effective way for the community to address growing concerns about panhandling locally.
Through the Central Alabama Community Foundation, this initiative will award grant monies to local nonprofits with proven track records that deliver meaningful assistance to individuals struggling with chronic homelessness, mental health challenges, and/or substance abuse.
