The Autauga County Commission was honored to join leaders from Autaugaville, the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce, state and local officials, community individuals, and representatives from the ADECA Alabama Department of Economic And Community Affairs, the Alabama Department of Senior Services (ADSS), and the Central Alabama Regional Planning & Development Commission (CARPDC) for a groundbreaking celebrating the NEW Senior Center! This facility will be located at 2407 Dutch Bend Street in Autaugaville, across the street from the current senior center.
Town of Autaugaville Mayor Curtis Stoudemire, joined Senator Clyde Chambliss, Representative Kelvin Lawrence, Autauga County Commission Chairman Jay Thompson, Probate Judge Kim Kervin, ADECA Director Kenneth Boswell, ADSS Commissioner Jean Brown, and CARPDC Executive Director Greg Clark on stage for program remarks.
“We are thankful we are here today,” said Mayor Stoudemire. “Today has been a long time coming, but through prayers, [faith], and hard work… today has come to provision.”
