Teens participating in the Montgomery County Student Apprenticeship Program are gaining extra knowledge to help them become successful in their future careers.
Montgomery City-County Personnel Director Carmen Douglas spoke to the group Wednesday morning about job readiness skills needed to become one of “the ten most wanted employees.” Douglas and the young men and women discussed the importance of having a good resume, an excellent attendance record, knowing the procedures of your workplace, a willingness to learn, and other qualities.
The participants will take part in a different session every Wednesday until their summer jobs end.
