The Montgomery Sheriff’s House is renamed in honor of local businessman Jim Lane.
County Commission Vice-Chairman Doug Singleton and Sheriff Derrick Cunningham made the announcement Friday morning.
Lane, the owner of The Lane Corporate Group, and his associates were present during the ceremony. Commissioner Singleton also presented a resolution to the local entrepreneur proclaiming April 1, 2022 as “Jim Lane Day.”
