Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02) has joined a letter led by Rep. Andy Biggs demanding answers from the Biden-Harris administration regarding the release of two Jordanian nationals, Hasan Yousef Hamdan and Mohammad Khair Dabous, who attempted to illegally access Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia.
Despite Hamdan being on a terror watchlist, both individuals were released on bail by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The letter urges the Biden-Harris Administration to provide answers by August 31, 2024, regarding the conditions of their release and the broader implications for border security.
"The release of these individuals, especially one on a terror watchlist, is part of the Biden-Harris Administration's revolving door of catastrophic mistakes that endanger the lives of American families,” said Moore. "The American people deserve answers and assurances that our national security is being prioritized."
