Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02) has voted for a resolution to establish a bipartisan task force to investigate the attempted assassination of former President Donald J. Trump. The proposed task force will have subpoena authority to examine the security lapses that allowed an assailant to come within 150 feet of Trump.

"The security failures that led to an attempt on President Donald Trump's life are shocking," said Moore. "The Secret Service failed on a no-fail mission, and it's imperative that we figure out the facts and hold people accountable so it never happens again."
