Washington, D.C. — Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02) has spoken out after a disturbing incident in his hometown of Enterprise, Alabama, where a young girl was a victim of first-degree rape at the hands of an illegal immigrant. Expressing his concern, Moore stated, “My prayers are with this young girl and her family. Thanks to Biden’s reprehensible open border policies, every town is a border town, including mine.”

Moore criticized President Biden for reversing the border security initiatives implemented by former President Trump, stating, "Biden undid every single one of President Trump’s border security initiatives with the stroke of a pen, and he could bring them back today and protect American families if he wanted to." The congressman also highlighted the inaction regarding the passage of H.R.2, a border bill that he believes could strengthen border security.

Regarding the current situation at the southern border, Moore pointed out the influx of illegal immigrants, including those with criminal records, stating, "Instead, he has chosen to do nothing as eight million illegals, including 617,000 with a criminal record, pour across our southern border." He concluded by holding President Biden accountable, asserting, "The blood and the broken hearts of these tragedies are on Biden’s hands."

The incident has reignited the debate on immigration policies and border security, with Rep. Barry Moore adding his voice to the call for stronger measures to prevent such crimes in the future.
