Washington, D.C. — Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02) has recently announced the addition of two key members to his team. Marshall Macheledt has been appointed as the Legislative Director, while Christian Gentile will serve as the National Security Advisor.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the new hires, Rep. Moore stated, “It's a blessing to add two experienced policy staffers to my team. My staff and I have made it a priority to keep the people we serve well-informed, and I am confident these new hires will help us take that standard to the next level.”
Macheledt, who brings with him a wealth of experience, will be leading Moore's legislative team. Previously serving as a Senior Legislative Assistant for Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio, Macheledt will oversee a diverse portfolio including crime and law enforcement, election security, FEMA, oversight, and Second Amendment issues for Rep. Moore.
On the other hand, Gentile, a native of Alabama and resident of Orange Beach, joins the team as the National Security Advisor. With prior experience as a Legislative Assistant for Rep. Josh Brecheen of Oklahoma, Gentile will be responsible for handling budget, science, space and technology, defense, transportation and infrastructure, and Veterans' affairs for Rep. Moore.
The addition of Macheledt and Gentile to Rep. Moore's team is expected to further enhance the office's capabilities in serving the constituents and addressing key policy areas.
