Washington, D.C. — Today, Rep. Barry Moore (AL-02) showed his support for two pieces of legislation aimed at putting an end to President Biden's actions against American energy production. The first bill, H.R.6009, known as the Restoring American Energy Dominance Act and sponsored by Rep. Boebert (R-CO), seeks to block the Biden Administration's efforts to increase fees and requirements for energy production on American land. The second bill, H.R. 1121, the Protecting American Energy Production Act, sponsored by Rep. Duncan (R-SC), aims to lift Biden's ban on fracking.
In a statement, Rep. Moore expressed his concerns about President Biden's energy policies, stating, "Biden's radical anti-energy agenda is undeniable. He killed the Keystone XL pipeline; he attacked domestic energy producers; he depleted our strategic petroleum reserve and sold it off to China; and he placed a ban on LNG export terminals." Moore emphasized the impact of these policies on American families, saying, "President Biden declared war on American energy from his first day in office, and American families have been paying the price. These pieces of legislation help House Republicans end Biden's attacks on our energy production."
