Of the 81,526 people living in Elmore County in 2020, 51.7 percent (42,138) were women and 48.3 percent (39,388) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the River Region Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 1,880. In the 65 and over age range, there were 7,057 females and 5,584 males.
