Elmore County issued the following announcement on Dec. 22.
Recently, our local delegation of state legislators met with Elmore County Commissioners, county elected officials, Board of Education Superintendent, and staff about local legislation needs and the commission’s focus for 2021. A few topics discussed were quality of life projects, broadband expansion, upcoming Rebuild Alabama plans, grant opportunities and education needs.
Thank you to Senator Chambliss (who met virtually), Senator Barfoot, Representative Ingram, and Representative Holmes for meeting with us to discuss current needs and upcoming opportunities in Elmore County.
