Cost of college went up for all students at Faulkner University

Tuition and fees rose 3.4 percent for 2018-19 at Faulkner University, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Alabama students paid $21,690 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $720 more than the $20,970 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 309 students received grants or scholarships totaling $3.9 million and 237 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.4 million.

Including all undergraduates (3,178), 1,946 students used grants or scholarships totaling $17.2 million, and 1,600 students took out $12.1 million in federal student loans.
