On Sunday, March 16, former Loveless Academic Magnet Program High School standout Caitlin Russell’s current college team, the UAB Blazers, lost 5-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Florida Atlantic Owls.

The game took place at Mary Bowers Field. This was their third matchup against the Owls this season.

The Blazers’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 19 at 5 p.m. at Mary Bowers Field against Mississippi State Bulldogs.
