There were 13 businesses registered in cities across Autauga County during Q3 2022

There were 13 businesses that registered in cities within Autauga County during the third quarter of 2022, according to the Alabama Secretary of State.

This is 225 percent more than the quarter before, when four businesses were registered.

Autaugaville registered the most businesses in Autauga County.

More than 99 percent of Alabama's businesses are considered small, with more than 47 percent of Alabama's employees working for a small business, according to the U.S. Small Business Administration.

A Civic Economics study found $100 spent at a locally-owned business puts $47 back into the local economy while the total is just $13 for non-local businesses.
