The fourth quarter 2022 Alabama Business Confidence Index (ABCI) survey is open until midnight on Friday, September 16.
The ABCI is a forward-looking economic index developed by CBER in 2002 that captures the economic expectations of business leaders in a single metric. With six key indicators and a composite index, it only takes 2 minutes for panelists to respond but provides useful insight into the state of the local economy. Quarterly reports break down the results by metro area, industry group, and firm size and are available for free on CBER's website.
