Hot off the press! Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama (HMMA) will soon begin building the hybrid version of its Santa Fe sport utility along with the first Electrified Genesis GV70 SUV at its Montgomery factory!
Governor Kay Ivey joined community leaders for the announcement earlier today. Hyundai has already invested $1.8 billion in the Alabama operation, which currently employs over 3,200 full-time workers! This is GREAT news for the River Region and beyond! The Chamber is thrilled to be part of the electric vehicle expansion in the U.S.!
