The median income of Coosa County residents was $19,227 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 4,103 households with a population of 10,855.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was Shelby County with $35,756 per year after adjusting for inflation – $16,529 more than Coosa County. It had 78,328 households with a population of 211,261.
