93 percent of applicants to Auburn University at Montgomery were admitted for fall 2018

At Auburn University at Montgomery, 78 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 65 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Montgomery enrolled 5,211 students in fall 2018, including 4,632 in undergraduate and 579 in graduate programs, data shows. 11.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

87 percent of undergraduates are residents of Alabama, and 8 percent are residents of other states. 5 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (45 percent) and Black or African American (41 percent).

The school admitted 93 percent of the 5,941 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 14 percent enrolled.
