South University-Montgomery enrolls 321 undergrads

At South University-Montgomery, 62 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 77 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Montgomery enrolled 390 students in fall 2018, including 321 in undergraduate and 69 in graduate programs, data shows. 19.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Alabama.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (66 percent) and white (28 percent).
