52 percent of applicants to Faulkner University were admitted for fall 2018

At Faulkner University, 58 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 60 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Montgomery enrolled 3,178 students in fall 2018, including 2,428 in undergraduate and 750 in graduate programs, data shows. 19.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

75 percent of undergraduates are residents of Alabama, and 23 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (49 percent) and Black or African American (42 percent).

The school admitted 52 percent of the 2,671 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 20 percent enrolled.
