On Sunday, March 23, former Holtville High School standout Sam Silas’ current college team, the Jacksonville State Gamecocks, lost 11-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the FIU Golden Panthers.
The game took place at FIU Baseball Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Golden Panthers this season.
The Gamecocks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 6 p.m. at Jerry D. Young Memorial Field against UAB Blazers.
