Rep. Barry Moore has expressed his support for President Donald J. Trump’s reconciliation bill, known as the “One, Big, Beautiful Reconciliation Bill.” The bill aims to renew Trump-era tax cuts and address various national concerns.
Moore stated, “Today, House Republicans put America First and politics second and delivered real results.” He emphasized that the bill represents a victory for families by extending tax cuts, funding border security, reducing energy costs, and investing in defense technologies. Moore added, “I’m proud to have fought for this bill and to help President Trump deliver on the mandate set by the American people last November.”
The reconciliation bill outlines several measures: securing $1.6 trillion in mandatory savings; implementing what is described as the largest tax cut in U.S. history; adding $5,000 to American citizens’ pockets; protecting Medicaid by removing 1.4 million undocumented immigrants; lowering energy costs by reversing Biden-era policies; permanently securing borders with funding for Trump’s border wall; prohibiting Medicaid funding for sex changes for minors; and investing in defense technology.
