Tuition for in-state students at H Councill Trenholm State Community College increased by 1.3% during the 2022-23 school year, according to recent disclosures, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

Alabama residents paid $4,830 to attend the two-year public college this year, which is $60 higher than the $4,770 charged in the 2021-22 academic year.

Non-resident students faced tuition costs that were 77.6% higher than those for residents in 2022-23, amounting to $8,580. This represents a 1.4% increase from the $8,460 tuition fee in the previous year.

Approximately 97% of the undergraduate student body at the college are Alabama residents, while around 1% come from other states.

Data indicates that 80% of full-time undergraduates who began studies at H Councill Trenholm State Community College in 2022-23 received some form of financial aid. In total, 212 students were awarded grants or scholarships amounting to $1.4 million.

Across the entire undergraduate population, 1,180 students benefited from grants or scholarships totaling $6 million.
