In the week ending Jan. 31, one gas station in Autauga County sold diesel gas at the lowest reported price of $3.07 per gallon, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Diesel gas prices averaged $3.37 per gallon in Autauga County.
GasBuddy reports show that diesel gas was available at nine of the 35 reported gas stations in Autauga County.
Across Alabama, the average reported price for a gallon of diesel gas remained unchanged at $3.29, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
