There was one gas station in cities across Autauga County selling diesel gas at the lowest price of $3.03 per gallon in the week ending Jan. 10, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Countywide, diesel gas averaged $3.28 per gallon.
Among 35 gas stations in cities within Autauga County, 10 offered diesel gas.
The average reported price for a gallon of diesel gas in Alabama was $3.23, down from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
