The Alabama High School Volleyball Coaches Association announced on April 8 that only one week remains to submit nominations for the AHSVCA Hall of Fame Class of 2026. Nominations must be submitted by Wednesday, April 15.

The association is seeking input from coaches and colleagues to recognize high school volleyball coaches, both retired and currently coaching, as well as contributors such as trainers, administrators, officials, sportswriters, junior high coaches, and association contributors. According to the announcement, “We are depending on YOU as a coach and esteemed colleague, to nominate your fellow high school volleyball coaches (retired and currently coaching) andcontributors (i.e. trainers, administrators, officials, sportswriters, junior high coaches, association contributors, etc.) to the AHSVCA Hall of Fame by Wednesday, April 15.”

Nominations will remain valid for three years after submission. The association said this allows ample time for deserving individuals to be considered in future selection cycles.

The AHSVCA thanked those who help celebrate individuals who have shaped Alabama high school volleyball: “Thank you for helping us celebrate those who have shaped Alabama high school volleyball!”

More information about nomination criteria and previous inductees can be found through the association’s official channels.
